Author: yudha.sherlo
Once again I found the advantages of Critical Thinking.
This is my story about Burden of proof Fallacy.
This night, after shalat terawih, my friends and I wanted to play futsal in Taman Tasik.
9.45 pm we walked together from cyberia to taman tasik, so tired...
And when we already in front of the guard house one of the securities walked to us.
he said "where are you going?"
and I said "we wanted to play futsal"
The security "its already 10.15. we were in the process to closed"
I said "but we already booked the court at 10.00 pm."
The Security " then why you came late?"
I said " why not?? at least I wanted to ask the management first"
he thought that he has no choice but to let us come in.
And after I asked the management, they allowed us to play.
we were so happy.

Kohler's Experiment
Author: yudha.sherlo
I woke up at 10 am today.
And found no one at home. So bored.....!!
So I turned on my television.
Perfect day! there's nothing interested in television neither.
I went to the kitchen to took some chocolate, white chocolate, delicious!
And when i came back to the living room I watched planet animal channel.
It showed about chimpanzee.
The chimpanzee was so smart. He can recognize what the instructor order.
dance, sit, took newspaper,etc.
That reaction made me remembered Mr. Nicky.
In tutorial class he told us about Kohler's Experiment with chimpanzee.
the chimpanzee arranged a box and jump on the box top get banana.
So smart.
Not only human,
when something was related to live, all creature in the world will do a reflect action to solve their problem..

Author: yudha.sherlo
I got a lot of fun today.
This afternoon at 1 pm, I went to Kuala Lumpur with my friends
Yuza, Deddy, and Teja.
In KL we went to Lowyat. There was so many discount for electronic device, I decided to bought hard disc and printer.
When i wanted to bought printer, I confused to choose about the brand, Epson or Canon.
I almost bought Epson printer when I said to my friends " Maybe I would bought Epson, because it was more safety to refill the ink with injection."
then Deddy said " no, Epson was not more safety than Canon. Canon has more protection system. So, you dont need to worried anymore "
Dedy said a contradictory statement agains mind.
he was not realize that he use one of the Critical Thinking metode.
In the end, I followed his suggestion to buy canon printer.

because I need to focused on Marketing's midterm test.
after exam, about 9.30 pm,
I came to my friend's house because his mother came to visit him from Indonesia.
His mom cooked some food for dinner, and he wanted me to join them.
The food called "sayur asem"
Traditional food from Indonesia, very DELICIOUS!!
In the end of our dinner I said to his mom "aunt, It's very delicious, thank you"
And his mom said " All Javanese people are good at cooking dear, like your mom"
In my mind, I remember about Critical thinking lesson maybe about three weeks ago
about Paradoks.
My friend's mother said " All Javanese people are good at cooking dear, like your mom"
she is a Javanese
Therefore, she is good at cooking.
She used Epimedes Liar Paradoks !!
Once again I found critical thinking application in a daily life.
now it's about 00.54 am.
I finished my critical thinking diary for today.
I want to sleep.........
huahhhh....!

Words Association
Author: yudha.sherlo
This is my diary for friday August 29 2008.
I'm so tired today,
I woke up at 10 o'clock because last night I studied marketing until 4.00am.
Today I have midterm test for Marketing at 8.00 pm.
after sholat jum'at, i went back to home to studied again.
I have two tutorial class this day, management at 3.30 pm and critical thinking at 5.30 pm.
I'm really tired...
after management class I went home and then slept.
and... Oh my god I over slept!! it's already 5.15
I took a bath fast and then run to campus.
the door is already locked, but Mr. Nicky allowed me to came in.
I promised to him that I would never came late again.
Mr. Nicky teach us about Word Assocoation.
and we played a game about words assocoation.
Word Association is like a keyword that pop up in our mind which has relation with another word said by another person.
Word association is very useful in our daily life,
for example if we have a group assignment and we don't know how to
describe, we can use word association to help us.
Tutorial Critical thinking class is r'ly fun with Mr. Nicky.
and after class I went back home again to study marketing.
uaah!!! I'm so tired...

3 Levels of Feeling
Author: yudha.sherlo
This afternoon, I finished my class at 4.30 pm.
I walked together with Yuza and Hezhar on the way home.
I was so busy with my handphone, and Hezhar pushed my shoulder.
I was so surprised!! I feel shock and a little bit hurt.
It's just my sensation. I know it for sure.
And near Cyberia complex, I saw a group of chinese students joked each other.
And one of them looked so angry. I don't know what happened to him.
But I felt emosion on him.
In my perception, the chinese guy who looked so angry was an emotional guy.
His friends just want to have fun with joked each other. And I think he doesn't need to take it seriously.
From the experience above, I can say 3 levels of feeling :
1. Sensation, which is feeling when you feel shock, hurt.
2. Emotion, which is inner feeling of angry, happy, sad, etc
3. Perception, which is our feeling about someone action.

Inductive Conclusion
Author: yudha.sherlo
Today, I woke up at 8am. And I have class at 9 o'clock.
So, I need to hurry..
After took a bath, I turned on my laptop because I want to checked my attendance.
The first page after I double-clicked mozilla firefox was yahoo.com.
There was a basketball news about Phil Jackson, LA Lakers coach.
It's so interested for me so I read the news.
I saw an explicit conclusion in the news said that " All the basketball players who trained by Phil Jackson has become a superstar in NBA games, such as Denis Rodman, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant."
From this conclusion, I knew that the aditor or writer used
Inductive Conclusion which mean that premis true, conclusion probably true.
The writer just give three example for his statement "all the basketball players".
So it's invalid.
after read the news, i checked my attendance and went to campus.
